Enterprise-Level Planning

The CPAW workstation is an excellent solution for many satellite imagery customers. For those customers and operators, though, who have enterprise-level collection planning requirements (e.g. multiple satellites, large order databases, tight planning timelines), the Collection Planning Manager may be required.

As the core of a scalable architecture, the Collection Planning Manager  manages a master target order database and orchestrates clustered computing by multiple CPAW Workstations. Multiple planning algorithms may be run in parallel for multiple planning windows for multiple satellites. The architecture is scalable to support multiple satellites and any number of CPAW workstations, and the Automation Manager enables configurable lights-out operations. For mission and system headquarters solutions, the Collection Planning Manager is also used to assign satellite resource time to multiple users and schedule/deconflict ground station contacts with multiple satellites.
